After replacing the the front and rear speakers, I thought it was time to inspect the head unit for the pinouts so that I can add an external amplifier. I removed the headunit and to my surprise it is a Clarion unit and not a Pioneer as previously claimed.

Unfortunately it still uses the e-Bus / CD interface and can only communicate properly with the SAAB CD changer.

I'm making my own 8-din cable for the pre-amp out. It will feed into a Rockford Fosgate Punch 400.4. The front stage will be the Infinity 605 cs components and the rears are Infinity Reference 6953i's. The lows will be handled by the Infinity Basslink which is fed the 90Hz and lower from the line out from the RF Punch amp.
