Paintless Dent Repair Advice (Longish) Posted by DavidS [Email] (#1993) [Profile/Gallery] (more from DavidS) on Fri, 31 Aug 2001 15:07:58 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Got my first really bad door dent in my 9-3 last month. It was up high - probably from a SUV or pickup door while the driver was talking on their cell phone. Really ruined my day. It was about the size of a dime and about 1/4" deep - ugly! But the good news was that there was no paint damage.
I checked out the 'Paintless Dent Repair' process on the internet and found a guy in my area who does that work. I would have expected to pay at least $250 to level the dent and repaint the upper door by conventional means. Well these folks push it out from the inside for about $75 each. I even found a coupon for $25 off. I am very satisfied with the final product. This will not work if the paint is chipped or crack though.
