I suggest spending the money on aftermarket - not factory system

The SE "upgrade" is not very impressive, in fact, I am replacing my kick-panel speakers with aftermarkets, but I am keeping the factory amp (a 2x40 watt). With a wiring diagram of the back of the reciever, one could eaisly create a connector that ran to a better amp and them to better speakers. The factory speakers are overpriced crap - don't waste your time and money on them - same goes for any "premium" factory audio system in any car! Talk to your local car audio shops or check out crutchfield.com. For example, because I am lazy, I just went with these:
