Help on possible Viggen purchase

After almost 2 years in a VW Passat (with an old 87 900 8v as my backup) I've decided the VW is a terrific car but just a little too boring (and too plentiful on Northern VA roads). So I'm looking back to my first love, Saab, with a price goal of no more than $35K, and a Saab owner loyalty coupon worth $2000 off a Viggen. Just looking for some info I can't seem to round up from the usual internet sources (and without having asked a dealer yet):
1. Does the GM 0% financing deal apply to Viggens?
2. Does the 2.2% holdback apply to Viggens (i.e., will I be successful when I try to cram my lowball price down their throats)?
3. I'm getting invoice prices of around $34.9K (not incl. destination), with likely price (incl. destination but not state tax) hovering around $36K (which will be $34K with my owner loyalty). The sources include edmunds.com, kbb.com and nada.com. Anywhere else I can look and will i get a different result? I assume end-of-year (and end of model run) rebates don't apply to the Viggen. Any stories out there?
4. One alternative is to pick up a 2000 model, slightly used. Some pricing research suggests $27-28K for a light miles dealer retail. Anyone have relevant experiences with 2000 or 1999 models?
Thanks for your help!
