can't open driver's door from inside

I can't believe it! I just tried to get out of my car and when I used the handle to open the driver's door, it made a 'snap' sound and it wouldn't open. The door wasn't locked and the part that must've broken must be inside the door, as it is not the black plastic handle that broke. Has anyone else had this happen?
I had to roll down the window and open from the outside. Until I can take it to the dealer is is Dukes of Hazzard style for me for a while.
Also had a headlight go out. Should I expect the dealer to replace the bad bulb too (I am in a lease) or should I pay for that?
I appreciate any responses. -JerryC
PS I also have to get my SID replaced when I am in (rows of lights are out sporadically.)
