I think there's something going on in the idle speed.
Not only does the turbo seem to spool faster, but when I'm cruising at a constant or decreasing speed on the freeway and turn sport mode off, the boost always drops.
I imagine that the sport mode is playing with the computer on a whole range of things. Why only in sport mode? I'm guessing CAFE and CARB numbers drove that decision.
