Actually, the ability to operate a SAAB at the limit of its performance limit is not only prudent, but unfortunately, a necessity in our society where so many folks are unable to control their impulses to cause harm to others either via aggressive driving, intent to hijack or other cause other mayhem and harm. To claim that the ability to reasonably simulate a rapid get away with one's family in the car is therefore both prudent and safe. Who would not drive fast if a reckless driver was tailgating you or trying to run you off the road with your kids inthe car? Thus please feel ffree to stow away the holier than thou attitude about drag racing. I omagine you are against gun ownership but I'd bet you have a fire extinguisher.
