Just Participated in BMW's Ultimate Driving Experience

On Saturday I attended BMW's "Ultimate Driving Experience" held at FedEx Field outside of Washington, DC. The event is part fund raiser for breast cancer and part driving school.
The fund raiser part involves test drives on various BMW models, with money going to breast cancer research for each mile driven. I drove the following:
330i - great driving car but lousy seats.
z3 (2.5) - kind of fun, but rides rough and has rather cheap looking interior
530i - my favorite by far; comfortable, powerful, the ultimate sedan in my opinion
The next part was an autocross event where you practice your skills driving
around a course as fast as you can. You had your choice of the 330xi, 530i, or the X5. I chose the all wheel drive 330xi. We were instructed by professional drivers who rode with us and basically told us what to do when. After several times around the track we had a timed relay competition between two teams. Unfortunately, my team lost. I enjoyed the time anyway and would recommend attending if you're lucky enough to receive an invitation in the mail.
