I bought one in March and have been very happy. My car listed at over 45K and I paid about 36K total for it. I also test drove the Sebring and Solara. The Sebring wasn't close to the Saab, the Solara is a nice car, but it's not meant/engineered to be a convertible.
When it comes to shopping for price and spending hours to save some money you should factor in your time and the mental stress...also the quality of the dealer.
A bad dealer may give the absolute lowest price and then make dealing with them just painful...while a dealer that affords first class service (like having a loaner car ready and running with the A/C on) when you drop your car off for service may be worth paying a few bucks more to. That doesn't mean paying more guarantees great service, but great service does cost.
