when I bought my Viggen, I thought for a while that the stiff suspension would make me crazy. Now, I wish the suspension was stiffer. I bottom out over some bumps. I don't think you can compare an Accord, which is a Japanese Caddy (in terms of ride) equivalent, and an SE. While there are better suspensions out there, after a while, you might find yourself saying, "You know, I feel much safer when I do this corner at 80 mph in my SE than when I do this corner at 60 mph in the Accord."
You can probably change the springs and dampers, which will lighten the suspension a bit. However, the rear suspension is a "twisted beam" design (or something similar), so it's going to be relatively stiff anyway.
