So far I continue my quest for 99 9-3 5 speed and hope to buy before year's end.
Have been to several independents (Roberti and another in the town I live in), and visited 4 Saab dealers, plus a website called Programcar.com-- which is actually Dowling Ford in Cheshire CT.
It seems that is you want to buy from a Saab Dealer - Saab of Westport has cleanest cars available - all are SaabUSA certified and were in near showroom condition. Plus their pricing (asking price) is very competitve. As far as the indies are concerned. I was very surprised at Roberti. Their cars are in pretty good condition - in fact, they were in better shape than 2 of the Saab dealers I visited. Pricing seemed a bit strange - not sure of their strategy - somewhat high for some cars, others are priced OK.
Want to schlep to Jersey - JMK has 2 9-3's that are well priced - at least sight unseen.
