I did it for my 99 9-3. Assuming yours works the same...
The 91 kit will screw into the side of the console with no problems. Below is a link to the TSB for phone installation. You will also need:
An external antenna (this is not optional).
The Saab wiring harness
A soldering iron, pen, or gun (borrow if necessary, you don't need it much)
A couple of small parts from Radio Shack
Your phone will work (the TSB may have been prior to the 5100 phone)
You may have a couple of extra wires from the harness, don't worry, clip them.
We used to have a Word Document of this TSB, maybe someone else can email it to you as I can no longer find it. Good luck. -JerryC
