I have had good results on my 1998 900SET cleaning the radio power antenna mast with WD-40 or LPS-1. Both aerosol sprays contain approx. 80% Stoddard solvent and 20% light oil. I use a clean cloth towel, apply the WD-40, and then clean the power antenna mast. This usually results in large amounts of dirt on the towel. I change to a clean area of the towel, apply WD-40 and clean again. Repeat until the mast is completely clean. Change to a clean area of the towel and wipe the antenna dry.
To be really thorough, raise and lower the power antenna and then repeat the cleaning operation. I do this about 3-4 times a year and have never had the power antenna stick or stop working. The slight oil residue keeps most ice from building-up on the antenna. Obviously, if the antenna stops working due to accumulated ice build-up, do not force the antenna just wait until it thaws.
I use 'Super-Lube' synthetic grease with Teflon to lubricate the slides on the sunroof about every two years. No problems so far.
