Hi,

So far it's been 5 weeks driving my 99 9-3, 5 speed 30K miles. I've driven 5 speeds on/off for 15+ years. So far, I'm starting to experience the dreaded "..hard to shift into 2nd and 3rd - mostly 2nd and so far about 25% of time.." I'll speak to dealer about the synch repair kit, and maybe have them adjust the linkage.

What is bothering me is how sensitive the car seems to punching the throttle - at times I get seasick. When in 2nd gear and I punch it I feel as if someone bumped into the back of me before the car "cathces itself and moves.." doesn't feel like the clutch is slipping. Someone suggested engine mounts may be the issue. About 2 weeks ago they retorqued the tranny mounts...anyway, other sticks I;ve driven don't tend to have such jittery response in 1st and 2nd gear...is this just a saab thing?
