Dont fret platform sharing is very common these days. The VW Golf platform is shared with the Audi TT, amongst other cars and I dont see anyone complaining about that car. The only think that will disappoint me in the new 03 9-3 is if they do not produce a hatchback version, I have heard they will - eventually - and that they will - never - but we will have to see. Personally, a Saab without a hatchback is kinda like an icecream sundae without the hot fudge sauce but Saab has not suffered in that the 9-5 is a sedan/wagon only combo and I have heard the 9-5 is the best selling Saab model ever. I have expressed my frustration a few times in that there is no info re the new 9-3 but I have decided if Saab doesnt want me to see the car just yet, it aint gonna happen. 'Good things come to those who wait' is what my mother used to say to me and I just cant wait to check out a car that has been a long time coming :)
