my 9-3SE with a few mods has so far outpaced from standstill to the next set of traffic lights or slow road conditions every 3 series I have come across, including the C330. Only a 540 has beaten me so far from the BMW stable.
I know that 0-60 times in magazines and manufacturing specs might look better than the 9-3, but real road users DON'T rev their engines to 6000 at the lights, before accelerating away. And that's what makes a turbo 9-3 so much better in performance than the BMW at the lights and in real day to day use, IMHO.
