Success with trailer hitch install from etrailer.com

If you've been thinking about installing a trailer hitch, let me assure you that it isn't very tough if you do it right. Based on reports I found on this board, I ordered one for my 99 9-3SE from etrailer.com and got it installed in about 1.5 hours by myself last night. Granted it wasn't easy to hold the hitch in place under the car (heavy) and I had to get creative to get the bolts in place in the frame, but I am very happy with how this Draw-Tite reciever fits very stealthily under my car.
-No cutting
-Only 4 bolts
-Only 1 hole to be drilled (1/2 inch)
And that's it. The tough part was getting bolts through the frame tube so they could drop into the holes provided. I attached two flexible drinking straws end to end and threaded fishing line through them. I snaked teh straws through the small hole towards the access hole and tied the tag end of the fishing line to the narrow end of the bolt and then pulled the line. The bolt dropped in painlessly.
I saved so much money doing it this way and couldn't be happier. I splurged and have ordered the $70 wiring harness from Saab so I don't f up the wiring and I'll be set to tow the new boat I'm building. Hope this helps someone down the line as it helped me. -JerryC
