After much contemplation, decided to take the plunge on Friday. 2002 93 SE, Premium pckg, heated seats, metallic paint (Hazelnut w/ beige interiors), manual trans.

MSRP is $31,565.
Invoice should be $29,526.
I'm getting a price of $26,946 (almost $2,600 UNDER invoice).
This included the so-called "Saab Loyalty Discount".
Residual is 48% of MSRP or $15,151.
Total payment at lease inception: $1,500 (which includes any fees such as security, application, first month, etc..). Actual Cap Cost Reduction according to their print out is $961.
Money factor seems to be 0.000964 or about 2.3% APR. (The salesperson sheet listed 0.00048 but that doesnt match the final monthly charge of $361 / month, so I did the calculation backwards to come up with the real financing charge).
36 months, 12K miles per year


The current Saab USA promotion is a heavily subsidized deal ($359 for 36 mo. with $1229 at lease inception for a SE with heated seats, no premium nor metallic paint). I will end up getting a better equipped car, for an extra $2 per month and an extra $150 down. Saab is giving these cars away!!!! ... at least in the NJ area....
