The exhaust system on Saabs is VERY easy to work on... Each section is individually suspended and there is little or no adjustment necessary (which is a GOOD thing). The hangers keep everything pretty much lined up so you just need to put the clamps on, tight them a bit, make sure nothing is knocking, and then tighten down just two clamps! I found I didn't even need a helping hand or have to jack the car up very far.
I will warn against having it installed at some muffler shops. Somebody here had a bad experience at a major chain where they WELDED the new exhaust in place which is totally unnecessary (not to mention it will making removal a PITA later on)
And the answer to your other question... Yes, the Saab sport exhaust is completely stainless with a lifetime warranty (for the original owner only? I'm not sure...). It's a TOTAL no brainer, especially if you live in the "rust belt" where you replace the exhaust system every three years.
