I'm 6'3" and have no problems at all in my '00 9-3SE as far as height. my dad is 6'7" and he can sit in there no problem as well.
granted we have both of the power seats all the way back - or in my case nearly. and most of my height is in my legs.
I love the way it feels, just fine for me (then again, I'm in an auto, so perhaps with the clutch it makes it more difficult down there).
the only real annoying times are when I bring it to the dealer they are apparently run by dwarves and one of them has commendeered (sp?) one of the presets on the electric seats and always adjusts it, and then I get it back and reset it back to my height - you would think I'd recall doing it *before* getting in - but you'd be wrong. so there is that first moment of swearing while I readjust :)
anyway, I love the room. when the lease runs out on this one I'm torn right now between just buying it, or getting a 9-5 Aero... they are sooo nice....
