Waxing Wheels = Easy Clean Up

If my neighbors didn't think I was certifiable they do now. I have been frustrated with
brake dust on the my new 02 wheels especially on the inside of the wheel which is very
visible on the new design. Per the suggestion of others, I spent the day waxing my wheels.
Now this is not that quick of a job to do it right. Yes I went ahead and took each wheel off
one by one and waxed the inside as well. I didn't have special wheel wax, just a can of
Simonize paste. I really gooped it on thick and it took almost an hour per wheel (jack time
included)... well it may have taken less time if I didn't have to explain what I was doing to
my new Saab 3 times. That was 3 weeks ago and it was well worth the time. The brake
dust still builds up, but it washes off easily with just hose water. The black water
streams down the drive. If you have a half day to spare it is well worth it, just keep your
garage door closed.
