I quote from your message "6.8 to 6.9 is about the best 0-60 you can get out of a front wheel drive car, no matter how much power you put under the hood" I really hope that you were just refferring to Saabs and in particular his model Saab, because there are three FWD factory stock cars that come to mind that pull 0-60 quicker than 6.8, namely the new nissan altima(6.5) and the nissan maxima(6.7), then next year we will have the Dodge Neon SRT4 0-60 in 5.9 seconds for a price of 19,995. And to the comment about "no matter how much power you put under the hood" you are kidding right? Watch espn or speed vision sometime and watch the FWD import cars Drag race, if they can pull 10's-11's i am sure that they can get to 60 quicker than 6.8seconds. I am sure there are owners on this site who have plenty of power under the hood and they are pulling to 60 in less than 6.8, suspension and correct tires can also help to combat the momentum of acceleration pulling the front of the car up and pushing the rear down. OF course we could just wait to get the AWD from saab that would help performance drastically. "that's the beauty of AWD" too bad subaru already uses it ;-)
