There are two different kinds of armrests. One is sold as an accessory by Saab USA, the sliding armrest. The other is a dealer part, the folding armrest which costs considerably more and requires you to purchase a cloth or leather cover. This armrest attaches to the drivers side seat, and folds up. I think that this armrest was standard for late 99 9-3 SE's.
I was wondering: Does anyone have any experience with the dealer armrest? It seems that a lot of people have the sliding armrest and like it. It seems that it is longer than the sliding armrest, but it might get in the way of shifting more.
also try turners hill saab's website for a more affordable price on the driver's folding armrest
