Oh, the pain we must endure! The BMW's are fine cars, albeit a little pricey, but from an engineering and performance standpoint, they are very capable automobiles. The Viggen however is no slough itself. With gobs of horsepower, wheel-spinning torque, cavernous cargo space and better aesthetics, the Viggen will hold its own against Europe's best sports sedans, inlcuding the 330i. My only gripe; I wish I had AWD. How much fun would AWD be on a Viggen?
In fact, the 9-3 SE will bloody the nose of many so-called sports sedans, including Asian cars. For the money, I feel Saab offers a very respectible alternative to Bimmer's, Benz's or Maxima's. Performance, styling and praticality...what more can you ask for?
Oh, by the way, when was the last time you hauled plywood in your BMW? My point exactly!
