From what I've read, a properly (wheel) balanced 9-3 will give you lots of road feedback. This can be mistaken for axle problems, out of balance tires, bent rims, etc...
But, in reality, road vibration can be any of those things. If it's under load, then quite possibly it's the axles. Again, I'm basing this on what I've read.
Mine vibrates under acceleration load and when going uphill on a highway. I swear I can also feel some vibration in the gearshift at slower speeds too when accelerating. But the car glides just fine on flat roads under minimal load (and < 60mph) and when going downhill.
My rotors are also a bit warped. I doubt that's a factor here, but who knows.
The best bet is to find a really good Saab mechanic, tell them what you're experiencing and what you think it might be. Mention that you've gotten lots of feedback "from the internet." Even mention this web site. That's what I'm doing. Got an appointment on 4/15 to bring my new baby in while she's still under warranty. We'll see.
