First time Saaber ... some interesting quirks

Took delivery of a '02 9-3 SE about 3 weeks ago. Overall, a fabulous car! But I'd be interested in other's comments about 2 things I am not crazy about:
1) Night driving: when you need to use low beams due to oncoming traffic or when following. Anything beyond about 50' in front of the car is in total darkness. While this ensures that the other drivers are not affected by your lights, it leaves no reaction time (especially at hiway speeds) should any hazard be on the road ahead or coming onto the road ahead (e.g: deer). I think the SAAB engineers overdesigned the lighting pattern. It's like driving blind and forces you to slow down quickly to get back in to a comfort zone.
2) Perhaps it's because my last four cars were BMW's and Audi's, but I am surprised how just a little bit of cross wind is enough to throw the car around and driving becomes quite a chore. I know that the shape of the car probably results in more windage than I am accustomed to, but I am wondering if this is truly to be expected or should I have something done/checked when it goes in for it's 30 day inspection?
