99 9-3 rear shocks "slight" leak at 32k--Warranty item?

I bought a nice lease return 1999 9-3 SE at 27k in Dec. It now has 32k. My dealer so far has been very accomodating about warranty work (but there's been a fair amount of it already, I must say). Just today, while getting new tires, my tire dealer (I've known for years) advised that both rear shocks have "slight" leaks - nothing urgent, but should be looked at. Am I safe in assuming that these should be warranty, instead of "wear" items? If only "slight" leaking, should I insist on new ones anyway? I'm sure planning on it, but what do you think? At retail, what do new ones cost, installed? How long should a pair of stock shocks last, especially with a sane driver on mostly good highways?
