I sent the following to SaabUSA:

"I am actually writing this to the marketing people or people who plan for the TV commericals.

I have certain ideas I think may be suitable for Saab commericals.

Idea#1

Part 1a: A young professional-looked lady (a wife) is driving a Saab on a sunny day. She is enjoy the sun or her life in her Saab. The feeling/theme is "classic" and "comfortable". It is to show that people who drive Saab cars know how to enjoy their lives.

OR

Part1b: A mom driving her children to school. The theme is safety and confidence.

After part1a or part 1b, the following part is important and related :

Part2: After the wife came home, her husband (also young and professional-looked) drive the same car or a more powerful Saab. This man not only enjoys his life in the car, but he also drives in a more aggressive way. He makes hard-cornering, drives fast in twisty roads/curves, and going fast on highways. The theme of this part is to show that Saab cars are powerful and fun to drive.

Idea#2:

It is similar to idea#1. Either a man or a lady is driving a 9-3 Viggen or 9-5 Aero in the city. That person is enjoying the driving experience. Suddendly, a young high school/college kid with his cap turning backward driving a "sporty"/modified car (Civc, Prelude, Integra, Sentra SER, etc) moves next to him in front of a stoplight. When the light turns green, the tennage floors the pedal and try to do a race. Now the teenage's car is a little bit ahead of the Saab. The Saab guy similes but doesn't respond to that. The teenage laughs. Then both cars are at highway speed or after both cars go down to the ramp and merge to the highway.
At first the teenage is still a little bit ahead of the Saab guy. Then the guy in the Saab similes again and he presses the gas pedal a little bit deeper or do a downshift or "make the turbo awake". The Saab "jumps" ahead of the modified car. That car tried to match the speed of the Saab but the Saab "smokes" it. The guy in the Saab begins to smile/laugh....

Hope this help."
