Hi I just bought a 9-3 it's a really great car I like it a lot so far.
One of the brushes underneath the parking brake is not there. so there is a sort of a hole down inside the car where the parking brake is at.
The brush is in the glove compartment; it appears to be unbroken. I tried gently to put it back and I couldn't get it. do you have to pull the center console area to fix it?
will a mechanic do this under warranty (car has less than 50,000 miles)? Or is that not covered?
also, the mechanic looked at the DI cassette today and said that the 30k service had been done because when the car was built they put blue marks on the underside of the cassette, and since there were no blue marks that the service had been performed. anyone ever hear of this?
i was going to put synthetic oil in but since i change my oil every 3,000 miles I don't think it matters, anyone got a conflicting opinion on that?
thanks everybody
