I live in Atlanta and unfortunately other than buying from an individual you're only other choice would be scouring other dealers for trade-ins or perhaps CarMax or the other warehouser, but their prices usually really suck (the no haggle thing). Have you worked the salesmen at Jim Ellis at all? That is where you will find the best selection. Which location? Chamblee or Marietta? Since the used ones are probably not flying off the lot, and your qualifications are pretty flexible (base, non-white, AT) I would find a few that you are interested in at both locations, take copious notes about the feature sets on each, and then head home to the internet to research fair value on them. If you've already done all of this and still feel like they're trying to rip you off, it comes down to how badly you want the car, unfortunately. It really should be a buyer's market, especially on the '99s, and if you knew what their cost on some of those trade-ins was you would probably really be upset! Their job is to get you to pay as much as possible for that car, especially a used one, since new Saabs are being sold at very little profit to the dealer. They make their money on service & maintenance these days.
