for the record...
this weekend i replace the NGK BCPR6ES-11 copper plugs with a set of NGK BCPR6EIX-11 (4919) Iridium IX plugs in my 2001 9-3 Convertible... as per the recommendation of TG (and the owners manual) I gapped them at 0.0375".
here's what i've noticed:
1. the engine seems to be idling smoother (very noticable)
2. the engine seems to be idling a bit faster
3. the temperature gauge seems to be showing things a bit cooler
put about 200 miles on the car driving between San Jose and San Francisco on the highway, and a bunch of local street driving.
accelleration and boost both seemed very smooth and very strong.
the plugs were $6.67US at ClubPlug.net
