It is a manual boost controller that can be installed on 1994 thru 1999 ng900's and 9-3's and also 9000's with the T5 ECU.
It is connected to control pressure and removes the ECU and boost pressure control BPC valve from the equation. You get around 14 to 15 PSI maximun boost, and you get that in gears 1 and 2 as well.
The turbo will also come on much faster than stock. 2nd gear can be quite amazing. In first gear you have to be cautious with the throttle to avoid wheel spin. You need to develop a new throttle technique. Buring the throttle qand waiting does not work any more. As boost comes on you will be reflexably be getting off the throttle very quickly.
A MBC needs other supporting mods. See the NG900 BB and search for deans<underscore>list.
This is a safe mod to do, years of running experience on this BB. But do follow recomendations on plugs, oil and injector maintenance.
