what's it look like? Posted by JimBlake [Email] ![]() ![]() ![]() In Reply to: Fram oil drain with tube, anthony, Thu, 27 Jun 2002 19:16:03 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Actually, I think the 9³ is the easiest to change oil of all the cars I've owned. The filter is right down there where you can reach it from below, it doesn't dump its contents all over the engine mount ('89 900) or run down my arm (Honda) or all over the side of the engine. The filter has always been more of a pain to me than the drain plug.
'67 VW squareback - "Filter? What's a filter?" This one burned oil about as fast as I could pour it in.
'72 Datsun 510 (filter dumps down side of block)
'74 BMW 2002tii (hard to reach beneath injection pump)
'82 Rabbit (2nd best)
'86 Jetta (not quite as much room as '82)
'89 900 (dumps over engine mount, have to disconnect alternator wires)
'95 Integra (crawl underneath, its hidden between engine & firewall)
'98 Accord (same as Integra)
'01 9³ best yet
