I'm 5'8", weigh about 150, bike 16-24mi or run 3-5mi 4 times a week. My eating manners are basically "everything in moderation". Seems to work great if you ask my wife :) It's a lifestyle choice too, not some fad diet like I see some folks going through.
It breaks my heart to see Americans getting such a bad name. I was on a cruise and some heavy-set woman was treating the waiter like dirt and eating horribly. One of the waiters quietly mumbled a half-truth about Americans. That hurt. The lady was speaking English but she certainly was not American if you listened to her Accent. Too bad every other part of her fit the bill.
Oh well, enough ranting. Please remember that there are many of us who take good care of themselves. I do realize that there are plenty "puffy" folks around but we're not ALL like that.
Interesting Note: Think of obesity as a survival mechanism whose time has passed. Thank you for listening.
