Continuing brake problems (long)

I posted a message about my brake woes on my 1999 9-3 a few weeks ago, and still haven't figured them out. The problem is that after changing the front pads and reassembling everything, the pedal goes almost all the way to the floor and I have to pump the brakes to get braking power. Before the brake job, the brakes were solid and felt strong. I've bled them several times (no air in the system) and taken off the calipers to grease the pins they slide on. I bought new rotors to put on, thinking that maybe if the old ones were too worn, the pads just wouldn't ever bed in, but I couldn't even get the old rotors off. People told me that they might have heat welded on and you need a few blows with a rubber mallet to free them up, but that didn't work either. Any ideas on that?
Also, after I"ve braked hard a few times, the front rotors are very hot and the rears are just a bit warm, so it seems like I"m not getting rear braking. A friend mentioned that there might be a balancing valve that would shut off flow to a cylinder in case a line got severed adn that that valve gets stuck sometimes. Is this the case for Saabs? And if so, what can I do about it?
If anyone has had a similar problem or has any recommendations please let me know. Thanks,
mike
