I installed the SAS bar on my 2000 coupe and 2002 conv a few months ago. The coupe has the Eibach springs and shocks...the results were noticeable. The conv is stock and I noticed only a slight improvement. I think (MHO) it really helps when the springs are upgraded as well but has limited effect on the stock springs since it can't overcome the more pronounced body roll by itself (obviously) Both cars are running 17" wheels/tires, too...
I had no issues on installing the bar on either car...took about 15-20 minutes per.
Bottom line is that I'll upgrade the conv springs/shocks, too.
By the way, my coupe is the nicest riding/performing car I've ever owned. Handling is crisp, not too harsh, etc. I've had British cars (Triumph), BMWs, Chryslers, VWs, etc...I like the coupe better than any of them and it's nicer to drive (performance-wise) than my 02 conv. A testiment to the suspension upgrades.
