I also have the Sun Shade and think it was a great addition. It keeps the kids happy in the back seat and makes the car look better too... I have the gray leather and since the shade lets less light into the car it looks like the windows are tinted.
I put it in myself. It took an hour, but you have to drill into the car. Two holes into the hatch cover and two into the metal in the upper hatch window frame. The holes in the frame are covered by the plastic cover. You take of the plastic cover drill the holes and reattach the plastic cover. It's nice because if you ever remove the shade you won't see the holes. I didn't have the metric sized drill bit they said to use... I used the closest I had and the provided screws were too small... I just went to store and purchased two screws to match the drill bit used.
