There are two different air boxes in use for the 9-3's. Why?... who knows. So that makes getting the right K&N a problem. Open your air box and get the filter's part number. Then do a search for that and you will probably find a K&N cross reference posting.
To get more boost you will have to spend $450US or more on a modified ECU.
Stick to the NGK BCPR6ES11's. Most trick plugs will get fouled up in the Saabs or create problems with the DI.
You can get a Saab Sports exhaust, but that does not seem to be availble in Canada. They don't want you to have the benefits of a stainless steel system with the road salt. :)
So K&N, exhaust and ECU will cost a bit.
