What I did was kept the stock SAAB dampers on there to wait until they wore out and then I'd change over to Bilsteins or Koni's. However, what i didn't realize at the time was i'd have to pay for the same labor again just to get the new shocks in. SO, what I'd recommend is pick out a nice set of Shocks and install them with your new springs.
After my eibachs were installed the stockers lasted about 4-5k miles. Now they need to be changed. The eibachs helped drammatically w/ handling, turn-in, etc. What really made the most difference were the 215 tires on Moda R1's. Although the Kumho's weren't the best tires, for $90 they hold the road decently.
Most of these pics are right after the springs were installed and keep in mind they settled alot more. Prob another 1/4-1/2 inch. Enjoy
