A Viggen or a 9-3? If not a Vig, I think I remember reading a post where the bottom black piece of the rear bumper skin is separate (I guess like the front ones normally are). I've not had the occassion to verify but if so it might be possible to swap out that piece if it is really torn up.
On my past scuffs in the bottom black trim I've just tried to smooth out the rough spots and nicks (don't use sandpaper as it will usually grey out the finish and look off color wise) with a X-Acto and leave it there. Not sure how the SAAB trim will take to that but again, if it looks rough it might help to trim it up vs. the expense of replacing the whole piece or skin (if not separate).
