Slowing loosing coolant ..... but where?

I have a 2001 93SE with 63400km (39700 miles) on it, mainly highway mileage. The coolant was last flushed out back in Feb 2002 (43500km) and I was at the COLD mark, if not above that level. Although I haven't been keeping a close eye on the level, after the oil change today (7-Sep-02) at my Indyshop, I notice that the level was almost 2 inches below the cold mark. My Indyguy (friend) tells me that he didn't remember seeing it this low the last time I brought the car in for an oil change at 58000km. In the last 7 months (or 20000km), I have lost 2 inches of coolant. Is this "normal"?
The Low Coolant message hasn't come on yet (never has) but I have a feeling that if it falls another 1/2 inch in the reservoir, it will come on. We searched high and low, followed all the lines ..... and NOTHING! We can find no leaks (also nothing on the garage floor). The engine oil doesn't look milky and the coolant itself looks quite green and shows no trace of oil - head gasket mixture. And the exhaust look normal I don’t see white exhaust. Can't smell anything in the engine compartment or cabin (heater core) when the engine is running.
I'm think I will bring the car into the dealer next week and request for a pressure test or dye trace if they also can't find anything wrong ..... any suggestions?
The car is running good and mileage on the highway is solid at 8.5L/100km. I'm still under warranty until 80000km.
