I've read that some of you change your oil filters twice as much as you change your oil. Does only a small amount of oil drain from the filter location of the 9-3's?
Also, I was wondering if anyone's tried fitting the oversized PF13 filters (the same ones I use on my C900) in place of the PF53/Saab-stock on the 9-3's? I've dry-fit one on, & there's enough clearance for it to fit (& it doesn't hang down below anything), but it's pretty close to the oil pan behind/above it. Does anyone know if airflow around the filter is a reason for not fitting a larger diameter filter? (Or, does anyone have a P/N for a longer filter of the same diameter?)
