Got back my 99 convertible today from the service department. They were to repair the leather on my drivers seat. Instead, the leather cover was replaced. It looks awful. They only replaced the back of the seat and it does not match the headrest and the bottom or the rest of the interior. Also it is MUCH looser than the other seats.
I did not talk to the service advisor today because she was on her lunch break and I was already going to be late for work myself. I will try to go back to the service department on Monday but I want to try to figure out what I need them to do.
Can the original leather be matched?(it's a 99) Looks like the cover I received was ordered from Saab.
Do I insist that the rest of the seat be replaced and just accept that the driver's seat will not match the others?
Do I insist that all of the seats be recovered so that they match?
I have a friend that had some leather work done that was perfect. Should I have the dealer use him instead of the shop they used before?
Somebody please help me figure out what to do. I am just sick because my car has been ruined. Looks like I have a cheap seat cover on.
