If it was a Saab advertised lease, then for 48 months at 12,000 miles a year, with $3,500 customer cash, excluding local tax and license, which includes first payment, down payment ($2,300ish), security deposit and acquitsition fee.


I get $326ish plus local tax. Residual is 45% or $11,936, MSRP was $26,525

That's calculated using the same terms, down payment and total customer cash as the 9-5 Linear lease on the least expensive version, a base 5 speed with out metallic paint or any packages. Note that the 9-5 has a moonroof, heated seats, CD and cassette, power passenger seat. And the
9-5 lease 6% lower residual, a better rate (less than half as much), factory incentives and the dealer has to give up 70% ish of the normal profit. The 9-5 lease assumes a substantial dealer contribution. The $326 of a 2003 9-3 Linear does not have a discount or dealer contribution figured as availibility is very limited, at this time.

A 9-5 Linear is advetised at $349, see the web site, http://www.saabusa.com

The 9-3 Linear we leased with an MSRP of $32,285, which included automatic, metallic paint, heated seats and headlight washers, launch pakcge and touring pacage, was around $500 with a little less down.

As always shorter terms, more mileage, and less down make the payment go up, but Saab 36 months rates are always better than 48 months so the difference is more negligible. 48mos at 12k with about $3,500 customer cash is the "ad" terms. 10k miles would make that a skosh less, 15k a skosh more.

There's a $500 Loyalty rebate for Saab owners to apply towards their driveoffs or customer cash and some well qualified customer will get Saab Finacial to waive the security deposit

As always, on approved credit, good through 10/31/02, dealer contribution may affect consumer price, yada, yada, yada.
