Nick,
Sounds like we may want to exchange phone numbers. I live in Ottawa (bought mine used in Toronto) and am having a similar problem with my 99 93. Folowing a valve job (to fix a rough idle) at high RPM at around 100-120 kmh my car stalls/sputters and decelerates. This is a problem created by the dealer when doing their work on the valves. My dealer too thought it was the catalytic converter. However, changing it did nothing. They also changed an oxygen sensor, and computer to no effect. The dealer called in a Saab engineer from GM who also can't fix the problem. Overall my car has been in the shop for over two months and my wife and I are getting ready to sue GM if they can't solve this ASAP. We have had it! Hope you don't have to go that far and have better luck than us but it may be a good idea for our two dealers to speak. Give me a ring at the office 613-598-3179 or mail me at mylese@sympatico.ca. I would like to speak to you about your experience and what your dealer is doing. I can also tell you what hasn't worked for us.
Myles
