Install it between the BPC and the wastegate actuator or install between the BPC and the turbo compressor housing hose barb with the MBC's bleed orifice blocked off.
You can adjust it to get better spool up. You cannot with the T7, increase boost beyond what the ECU wants. I don't know if you can 'inch' it up a little bit in the lower gears. If the ECU sees more air mass flow than it wants, it will start to close the fly-by-wire throttle to compensate. So as you adjust the MBC, you will have to sense the point were you are not getting any furhter improvements. Then perhaps adjust down till you feel a change then one step back up and stop. If the ECU is having to throttle down the boost too much, I think that a check engine light could be your reward.
So you can install a MBC with a T7. But your goal is limited to faster spool up gains, not power gains. But that is worthwhile for the cost/benefit.
