There are many many posts about rattles, squeaks and creaks in this BB. You'll probably never go thru them all. Since you say its the rear seats, the only thing I can think of are the hinges for your seat bottoms and/or your seat back. 2 ways to check:

Wedge something (like a towel) between the seat bottoms close to the front (where the hinges are). If the noise goes away, thats it.. Another way is to drive, and when you hear the sound, push the seat bottoms back (toward the rear of the car) and see if it goes away. It may be dangerous if you're not a good driver, so maybe have someone else do it. Try both of the seat bottoms..

Fold back the seat backs and put something on top of it. (Maybe some Ikea furniture). If the noise goes away, thats it. A possible solution is to wedge towels between seat backs and the carpeted frame. You'll have to push hard to get the seat back to latch, but if its the hinges, this will take care of it.

Of course, if your car is under warranty, and don't mind taking many frustrating trips to the dealership and have them tell you that they can't hear it, or they say they fixed it, but the noise never really went away, you can do that too.. ;-)

Unfortunately, squeaks, rattles, and wind noise is a part of life with Saabs (some will argue many other brands too..) I've personally experienced:

Seat bottom creak/rattle (went away for now)
seat back hinge rattle (fixed with towels)
A/C sensor fan whistle (figure I'll get the dealer to fix it at 10Kservice)
Center console creak (sliding arm-rest rub against seats)
Driver side powered seats squeaks when being adjusted (I don't adjust it, I'll get it at 10K service)
Passenger side rattle (not sure where it came from), when accelerating, and only when accelerating.. (came on ~7000 miles)
Sunroof rattle when accelerating/decelerating hard, or when over large bumps. (Its rare, and I don't think I can get the dealer to find it, as I only rarely do..)

Things I've read many times here, but not experienced:

Hatch door rattle
hatch cover rattle
excessive wind noise (not excessive, but below average for car in this price range..)
wind whistling due to door-trim/insulation defects..

An easy solution: Turn up the stereo! ;-)
