check, Saabs have always been picky about their electrical flow. The IAC valve should be removed and cleaned with spray carb cleaner (If a IAC only needs a cleaning, it won't show up on a Tech 2) AND the throttle body/throttle plate needs the same thing ( spray carb cleaner into it and clean it with an old toothbrush). Have them check ALL vaccuum hoses very carefully. Also, if you have a intelligent dealer-you may be able to ask him about a "software issue" that has been reported on causing inconsistent idle>>>>http://www.saabnet.com/tsn/bb/9-3/index.html?bID=34928.
Those are a couple things that they should check. You can search for "rough idle" or "idle" here on the board and come up with a couple more things...
[thanks to TG for the info]
Please repost or email me directly if you are able to come up with ANYthing and i'll be sure to do the same...
