I got these from another Saabnet member (Thanks robert!), and they worked like a charm. I am not mechanical, and this took me 45 minutes. As for the difference in handling, I am not the best person to ask as I upgraded to 17" rims and performance tires at the same time and cannot tell which upgrade had the larger effect on the car. Bottom line, however, is my car handle 2x better than it did pre-upgrades. Hope this helps.

Spray the old bolts with WD40.. no wrench is needed on the old nuts as
they are attached to each other other with a piece of metal. They were
a 13mm socket. I thought the old one came off pretty easy but folks
on NG900 list have had the bolts break... since I knew I was getting
the bar I sprayed the bolts each week for about 2-3 weeks. Mine's
a 1999 they were a little rusted but once I got each one turned my son
had no problem turning the socket.

Oh, to get underneath I backed my car out of my garage a bit. My driveway
has a slight grade down (maybe 4 degree). I put some towels down and was
able to get under the car. (I own no jack stacks).

You do have to be careful as there are brakes like there. They aren't in
the way but you must make sure the wrench doesn't scratch them. BTW: the
SAS bar comes with bolts, washers, and nuts. I went to ACE hardware and
got grade 8 bolts based on the list. I used the nuts and washers that
came with it. The bolt head and nut are 9/16". I had a 9/16 wrench (the
only american size wrench I own (lucky)). I used the round closed end of
the wrench to hold the new nuts, I used a 9/16 socket and wrench to tighten the bolts from the bottom.

The new bar's 15lbs.. To get it on I used 4 1/4 gallon paint cans to
hold it up closer to the car. It was real help, I hand tighten the nut,
washer, bolts on one end and then the other. The hardest part of the job
was getting each nut on top of the bolt..the inner ones require some
clever finger work..but that's it. I tightened each as much as I could,
from underneath while holding the regular wrench (box wrench?) on the
nut and being careful not to let that wrench rotate near the brake lines.

It took me less then an hour. Just work slowly and remember..its only 4
bolts. Midas or a garage can probably do it and 30 minutes.
