Holy Moly what a storm

I was working out of town on a job, winter storm on the way. I'm freaking today. We had to wait till about 1:45 -2:00 before the guy we were working for finally said "lets go" after the sleet began. I started out and in about one hour hit sleet then snow, heavy snow like crazy, then sleet, then snow, then sleet, then freezing rain, etc. Now I'm back home, the trip *to* the job site took less than 2 hrs, the trip this afternoon took 3 hrs+. The Saab did great on the snow, only problem was the cheap Dayton tires that came with the car, they hydroplaned like crazy on the slush. They did great on the packed snow, tho. A very harrowing and tiring 3+ hrs in the car, what with the idiots with 4WD who think they are bullet proof and the 18-wheelers. Whew....now I'm on beer #4, its sleeting outside, the heat and power are on. (until the freezing rain begins, that is. Then the trees and power lines start to snap). Walkin' in a winter wonderland.
